Let's stop MS together
We are so lucky to be able to meet as an informal group of friends, linked by a relation to MS, on Fridays for coffee, chat, good company and good food. We are made so welcome at the Appley Manor near Ryde.
Us friends meet on the first and third Friday of each month and is individually pay as you go. This is not arranged by the MS Society.
We arrive about 11am. Enjoy coffee, tea or soft drinks. We note that some people enjoy a large glass of wine! Then we all put the world to rights for a while before a raffle is drawn. (All prizes being donated on the day.) Time is then spent studying the menu before ordering our meals.
Lots of people enjoy the excellent roast dinner, beautifully prepared and great value. There are various dishes to suit all tastes and appetites. The sweets are ‘to die for’ as the saying goes. It is really great to have such a well supported and enjoyable group to look forward to. Leave whenever you like.

Members of the Friday Club enjoying the Club's open golf tournament at Puckpool Park.
Upon arrival at the park we were offered a set of one club for each member and headed off to the first hole on the international 18 hole course (Crazy Golf Course). Unfortunately, several members caught sight of the cream tea's and dropped out of the tournament. Well, we all dropped out in fact and sat and just enjoyed the scones, jam and lashings of cream.
We hope to make the 'Open' a regular event for the club.
